The first day of classes is rapidly approaching. Many students' first taste of on-campus living is during this time, with classes and gallons of coffee. Start on the right foot with these six suggestions for making the most of the student dorm.
Schools and colleges will again be humming with activity as students and teachers tackle new courses and publications. As a student, you probably have to share a small apartment or house with one or more people. This means making the most of the available horizontal and vertical space.
As anyone who has ever had to share a kitchen knows, storage options can be limited. The RÅSKOG movable table in white from IKEA is a clever solution for organizing your dry goods, oils, and cookware. You and your roommates can benefit significantly from the extra storage space provided by the three shelves. Put drinks and snacks on it and roll them around the room at your next student party.
There may be a lack of space in the bathroom. Put your creams, shaving foam, and makeup in order with IKEA's bamboo UPPDATERA storage boxes. Both are functional and contribute to the bathroom's ambiance of comfort and relaxation.
The PLATSA bed frame combines a tall cabinet and a bed, making it a versatile piece of furniture. You'll be able to use every inch of the space at your disposal. Put your shoes and clothing in the tall cupboard, and use the built-in drawers beneath the bed for the rest. Your bed's frame can double as a room divider if you want to create the impression of a new bedroom.
The NYMÅNE desk lamp is both decorative and functional, allowing you to set the mood and read the course materials easily. Thanks to its integrated charging port, it can charge your phone and serve as a flashlight. If you want to sit at your desk and study without falling asleep from the sheer weight of your textbooks, the Nilzerik stool is a great option.
A KALLHÄLL/TERJE table and folding seats will allow you to set up the ideal environment for your study group when they come over. There is enough space for up to six people at the table, depending on how you unfold it. By the time the clock strikes 6:00 o'clock, the table can be folded and the folding chairs stowed away in the convenient in-built storage pocket, leaving plenty of room for dancing and socializing.
You can get whatever you need from the IKEA online store.
