Home is where you find the energy to begin a new day and where all the problems fade away. This is exactly what Jean-Christophe Aumas seemed to have in mind when he decorated his apartment in Paris.

This famous art-director, working for brands like Chloé or John Galliano, chose modernist furniture, vibrant mix of hues and blocks of strong colors combined with more neutral tones. "When it comes to color, I prefer to do something modern and graphic rather than baroque", says Jean-Christophe in an interview for ELLE Decoration UK, the January 2010 issue (pictures from mirror mirror).

On the other side, the furniture and quirky accessories aim to create a visual impact for who enters the house. We just love the Alexander Girad wooden dolls, Tom Dixon's coffee table and the vintage wooden "drapes" that separates the bedroom from the bathroom.
