Glass philosophy
Anna Torfs began designing her own glass collections in 2002, and through the years developed two beautiful lines, Anna Torfs Basics and Anna Torfs Edition. Her approach: to create contemporary design using traditional glass techniques. Color is crucial, evoking emotions, but transparency and translucency are not always identical, that is Anna's central theme.
Anna Torfs, Anna Torfs Edition, Caja Caja Duo
Every peace of the two collections is handmade, meaning there no such thing as two identical peaces. For Anna Torfs Basics she started from basic forms, such as cylinder, sphere, or a drop, shapes that where altered using cuts or overlay of colors. For the second collection, Anna Torfs Edition, vivid colors and sharp cuts are applied to create dynamic, energetic pieces. Energy and sensuality burst from this second, beautiful collection. I just love it!

These are some really cool sculptures! I would definitely put them on my coffee table.
