Organic furniture for your home
As time passes by changes in our lifestyles will take us more and more to eco-conscious choices. And we're not interested only in organic skincare, make-up, clothes and shoes, but also in eco-friendly furniture and home decorations made of recycled wood, cotton or plantain fibers.

Comfy in a little tulip
Here's another tulip shaped chair for you, this one designed by Pierre Paulin in 1965 and reedited by Netherlands based Artifort Company.
Handmade, with an upholstered covering and chrome base, the Little Tulip chair is more than just practical. Its refined, graphic design has an inviting and comfortable quality, suited for any location be it a working desk or at the dining table. After all, your favourite chair in the house should be "friendly, fun and colorful" as Pierre Paulin thought.

Sculptural furniture by Seth Rolland
I would love to have my home decorated entirely with designer pieces instead of soulless mass-production furniture, which is if I had a home of my own. Until then I can only dream of fitting in my imaginary bedroom a whimsical, curly Hayes cabinet and can only sigh for writing at the smooth, graceful Trimerous desk.
Furniture designer Seth Rolland shows his love for nature in every piece of home furnishings he creates. The simplicity and dynamic of the natural forms give his main inspiration while sustainably harvested wood is the basic material for the organic designed pieces.

Modern pyramids for book lovers
Don't think about Egyptian curses which need to be un-riddled by specialists, history lovers or book readers. Here is a discovery I "made" regarding trendy and eco friendly furniture; the pyramidal shelf, a thing which you can't ignore if you happen to be in the same room with it.
I guess furniture designers bet on unusual furnishing just because we can't ignore such things, thanks to their shape or materials used. Another must have piece of furniture which knows no law of gravity if you happen to close your eyes and only peek at it. And the funny thing is that the pyramid shelf is very light, as it is made out of aluminum.

Flavius - Romanian interior designer
I would like to present a Romanian interior designer who seemingly had captured the attention of British design schools. Flavius, is one of those young designers who learned designing all by himself, after attentively observing numerous tries and failures of others and reading tutorials on the internet.
He seems to have a gift for 3D imaging and interior design as you can see from the pictures below. He is simple, psychedelic oriented and fond to bright colors and excessive light. Although he doesn't have a degree in interior designing, there is no doubt he can arrange you things around the house.

Book me up for the collection - MYDNA bookcase
I'm all thumbs up for unconventional and modern furniture, especially if they are eco friendly, and that just because I'm against forest grubbing. But if you think otherwise, take into consideration the fact that it doesn't have to be necessarily woody to create an environmental effect.
Modern furniture designers test their ingenuity by creating twisted furniture pieces, literally. Take for example this MYDNA twisted bookcase from Joel Escalona's furniture studio. It's unique, fluid in shape and intriguing as a furniture piece.

Take a chill moment - the tendencies of modern furniture
Coco Chanel's old saying "less is more" not only influenced the mind of young fashion designers, but also the tendencies of modern furniture features. Now, what's "less is better", continuing the idea of fluid lines and gravitational defiant curves of nowadays furniture design.
Cassina and Jean Marie Massaud teamed up to create spacious, aesthetic and contemporary furniture in order to launch their uber exclusivist collection. The Aspen opposing sofas work as a long sleek single seating surface and lounge area.
