My colorful dream room

Ok, I promise that next time I will come up with a different style of home interior styling. It’s just I'm so in love with this all bucolic decorations that I want to see them everywhere. But enough is enough and after this article I will proceed in showing you something else.

Until then, here's my idea of the perfect bedroom or maybe a studio apartment: the cozy handmade Marie Bed, by Delia Furniture, with pretty steel fixture, situated near the glass Arbalete Desk by Luigi Gorgoni or the Vitra Frank Gehry Low Table with a Stack Vase of flowers on it; on the floor there should be a joyful Giverny Hooked Wool Rug (where kitties would enjoy playing) and next to the walls, a Finn Juhl sofa, or a Proust Geometrica armchair designed by Alessandro Mendini, or even both, depending on how big is your nest.

Don't forget the easy assembling Blu Dot Modulicious cabinet/dresser (in blue shades) the white ruffled curtains by PaulaAndErika and artistic or cheerful accessories (art dolls, funny plush toys, round shaped alarm clocks) neither the wall paper. I chose a Cherry Blossom Tree wall sticker, from designedDesigner although is winter outside. A grey hell of a winter.

I really like that Giverny hooked rug. Even though it is somewhat overwhelmingly colorful, the colors and design are still somewhat subdued and gentle on the eyes.

I just adore that bed! It will go well with the whimsical theme of my daughter's bedroom. And those white curtains are so nicely done!

The Black Eyed Suzie doll just gives me the creeps! I'd never want that anywhere nar me when I turn off the lights to sleep. ;)

There is something about the Proust Geometrica chair that has struck my fancy. I don't usually go for designs that are too colorful. I've always tended towards simple, sleek lines. But this chair just draws the eye that I'd love to have it sitting somewhere in our family room. That's not to mention that it looks quite comfy to sit in, too.

My daughter is so afraid of dolls. Pretty weird for a 6-year-old. If she sees this do by Nikita, it would probably go to the top of her list! Talk about creepy ...!
